International Visitors To Arrive In Bali On February 3
An official from Bali Tourism Agency has confirmed that 12 international visitors will be arriving at Bali Ngurah Rai Airport on February 3rd 2022.
The Head of the Bali Tourism Agency, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, confirmed that 12 international visitors are scheduled to arrive at Bali Ngurah Rai Airport on Thursday (3/2). They will be departing from the Narita International Airport in Japan with Garuda Airlines.
Despite receiving only a small number of tourists after the government announced changes to the travel requirements, Pemayun ensured that officials are prepared with the best procedures to welcome the visitors.
“The Governor of Bali and I will be there to witness the arrival of the Garuda Airlines flight tomorrow,” Pemayun said on Wednesday (2/2). He confirmed that the flight would have 12 passengers on board.
“According to the information, 6 of the 12 passengers are Japanese. We’re grateful to hear such good news and hope that this is the beginning of the revival of our tourism sector,” Pemayun added. He also explained that Bali has 64 quarantine hotels across the island, but only 21 were included under the bubble program.
“Of the 21 bubble hotels, only five will be ready to operate as quarantine facilities by February 3rd. Visitors will be able to leave their rooms during quarantine and roam around the entire hotel areas,” Pemayun concluded.
The five hotels include Viceroy Bali Ubud, The Westin Nusa Dua, Griya Santrian Sanur, Royal Tulip Springhill Jimbaran, and Grand Hyatt.
